Seventh House is the main house for Business. Depending on the strength of these two houses we can predict job or business.
If there is a connection of 10th House/Lord with 6th House/Lord then job is indicated and if there is a connection of 10th House/Lord with 7th House/Lord then Business is indicated.
In deciding Job or Business Dasha also plays an important role along with Varga charts. More planets in 11th and 7th house at times play important role in business.

Government Job/Private Job
Government job: for government job Sun is important planet. Connection between 6th/10th is required for government job.
Private Job: Planets like Venus/Mercury/Rahu are responsible for private job. Influence of Rahu /12th house/lord makes the person to work in MNC/Foreign.
Promotion: For promotion Ninth House/Lord, Tenth House/Lord, Eleventh House/Lord and connecting dashas are important. 9th Lord/11th lord placed in tenth house is very good for promotion.
Change in job
We need to check the dasha, when Dasha running is good then no harm in changing the job. If the Dasha running is not good then don’t change the job as the situation will be same.
Dashas of 5th lord , 12th Lord or planet associated with 5th house/lord , 12th house/lord might bring in some changes in job.
