Remedies to remove /lessen ill effects of Rahu:
• Donate: Urad dal , black chana or coconut, black clothes on Saturday and Wednesday to get blessings of Rahu (North Node
• Worship Lord Bhairava or lord Shiva
• Recite the Kalabhairav asthakam, Durga Saptasati, Rahu stotram
• Japa of the Rahu Beeja Mantra “Om bhram bhreem bhroum sah rahave namah” 18000 times in 40 days to get immediate relief from Rahu problem.
• Gemstone- Gomeda is the best gemstone to mitigate the negative effect of this planet. Generally middle finger is used in this case and the metal is silver.
- Feeding Ants
• Eight Mukhi Rudraksh and White Chandan Root is also a very good remedy.
• Fasting on Saturdays– It is suggested to keep fast on Saturdays for Rahu dosha as the friend of Shani (Saturn- prayed on Saturday)
• Donating Black and blue offering– Rahu is lord of blue sky and can reduce the negative influence of Rahu by donating the black food like daal or black clothes to poor, needy, disabled or orphan people.
